In a grotesque display of bigotry, US President Donald Trump once again spewed venomous rhetoric against Palestinians, deploying a derogatory slur that lays bare the racist dehumanisation at the heart of Western-backed Israeli apartheid.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) rightly condemned Trump’s vile language, but this incident is not merely about one man’s hatred—it is a window into the rotting foundation of Jewish Supremacy, an ideology enshrined in Israeli law and cheered on by Western powers as they sacrifice Palestinian lives on the altar of colonial expansion.

Trump’s Slur: A Mirror of Systemic Erasure
Trump’s repugnant remarks—reminiscent of his decades of racism, Islamophobia, and xenophobia—are not an anomaly. They reflect the same supremacist logic that underpins Israel’s decades-long occupation: the belief that Palestinians are lesser, unworthy of dignity, rights, or even basic recognition. Such slurs are weapons, wielded to normalise the erasure of Palestinian humanity, just as settler-colonial regimes have historically demonised Indigenous peoples to justify theft and genocide.

Jewish Supremacy: Israel’s Racist Ideology, Explained
To understand “Jewish Supremacy,” look no further than the frameworks of white supremacy. Just as white supremacy asserts the dominance of one racial group over others, Jewish Supremacy—as codified in Israel’s 2018 Nation-State Law—declares Israel the exclusive nation-state of the Jewish people, relegating Palestinians to second-class status in their own homeland. This apartheid system grants Jews worldwide the “right” to colonise occupied Palestinian land while denying millions of displaced Palestinians the right to return to their villages, stolen in 1948 and 1967.

Israel’s matrix of segregation walls, checkpoints, and Jewish-only settlements is not mere policy—it is the manifestation of an ideology that places Jewish lives above all others. Palestinian homes are demolished to build Jewish colonies. Palestinian children are caged in Israeli prisons. Gaza, an open-air prison, is bombed with impunity. All while Western governments fund, arm, and politically shield this regime, laundering its crimes as “self-defence”.

The West’s Role: Bankrolling Supremacy, Betraying Justice
The United States and European powers have not merely turned a blind eye to Jewish Supremacy—they have actively nurtured it. Billions in military aid, vetoes shielding Israel from accountability at the UN, and propaganda framing Palestinian resistance as “terrorism” all reinforce this hierarchy of oppression. Trump’s first presidency saw this complicity reach new heights: moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, legitimising settlements, and crafting the so-called “Peace Plan” that offered Palestinians crumbs in exchange for surrendering their rights. Biden went a step further, committing the whole might of the US Navy to enforce Israel’s genocide and slaughter of countless thousands of Palestinian civilians and children in Gaza.

Western media and politicians parrot Israeli talking points, painting Palestinian liberation movements as threats while ignoring state-sanctioned violence. This is not neutrality—it is complicity in ethnic cleansing.

Palestinians Resist, While the World Looks Away
Amid this onslaught, Palestinians persist in the rubble of Gaza, now a scene of utter and complete destruction. Whole families have been completely wiped out – babies, mothers, everyone obliterated by American bombs dropped from Israeli planes on targets supplied by Britain. But even now in this hellscape, their resistance defies erasure and their spirit remains unbroken . Yet the international community’s “outrage” remains performative, refusing to sanction Israel or halt the weapons, and military support enabling this grotesque genocide.

Conclusion: No Justice in a Supremacist World Order
Trump’s slurs and the media silence about the Gaza Holocaust are a symptom of a deeper disease: a global order that privileges supremacy over justice. Just as white supremacy cannot be reformed but must be dismantled, so too must Jewish Supremacy—the ideological engine of Israeli genocidal apartheid—be confronted and abolished. Silence is complicity. The time for solidarity is now: boycott, divest, sanction, and amplify Palestinian voices until liberation is won.
